Author Guidelines

JAIEF is a journal that contains scientific works in the fields of Economics, Econometrics, and Finance in general, both with conventional approaches and those based on Islamic sharia. JAIEF is published three times a year. The published manuscript is the result of a selection that has been approved by the Editor and has never been published in another publication.

The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English with Garamond letters (according to the template) and arranged systematically in the following order:

  1. The title is in capital letters (short and clear).
  2. The author's name is written under the title and without the title.
  3. If there is more than one author's name, then write all of the author's names on the same line. If more than two lines, then write the author's name on the second line.
  4. Write the name of the author's affiliation on the next line.
  5. Abstracts are written in two languages, namely Indonesian and English for manuscripts in Indonesian. Articles written in English are sufficient to write abstracts in English. The number of words used to write the abstract is not more than 200 words.
  6. Keywords consist of 1 - 5 words.
  7. The contents of the article are composed of Introduction, Literature Review, or a study of the underlying theoretical concept, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, and Closing. In the closing section, recommendations can be added based on the research results obtained.
  8. Introduction, contains background problems, business phenomena, or theoretical gaps or previous research gaps briefly. In addition, the background also describes the importance of solving problems scientifically or the contribution of the research carried out.
  9. Literature Review, contains a review of the theory and previous research that supports the research conducted. Subsections may be used if necessary to divide the description in each section and may be used for the contents of this article, namely the Introduction, Literature Review, Research Methods, and Results and Discussion.
  10. Research Methods, contains as a whole how scientific work is made, explains whether the research is qualitative or quantitative, as well as the data analysis used.
  11. Results and Discussion, contains a discussion of the main ideas or problems that are discussed systematically, discussion of the results of data analysis that has been carried out and strong reasons, based on logic and previous research, regarding the results of the analysis obtained.
  12. Closing, contains research results that have been abstracted, especially for research results or abstracted from the general purpose and content of the problems that have been described in the content section. Recommendations can also be added based on the research results obtained.
